Terms & Conditions – YourTuk

  • The information available on this website is subject to change at any time without prior notice. We recommend that you visit our website regularly to check for any updates. Although we make every effort to keep the content up to date and accurate, we cannot guarantee its complete accuracy.

Reservations

  • Reservations can be made directly through our website, via WhatsApp, phone, email, or third-party platforms. When booking by email, please include all necessary information to expedite the process. Online reservations guarantee immediate confirmation. Reservations by phone or email may take up to one business day.

  • Although we accept reservations via platforms such as Airbnb, we recommend booking directly with us to get the best prices and avoid additional fees.

  • Groups can book private experiences on our website and via Instagram. For customized programs, please contact us at least 7 days in advance.

  • YourTuk reserves the right to adjust prices based on dynamic pricing models.

  • Some shared experiences require a minimum of two participants. If this number is not reached by the day before, we may continue the experience, or cancel or reschedule the activity.

Payments

  • YourTuk reserves the right to request 100% payment to secure the reservation. Payments can be made in cash, by bank transfer, or credit card (transaction fees may apply).

Cancellation Policy

🛑 Cancellation Policy – Yourtuk

At Yourtuk, we know that plans can change — and that's okay!

We want to ensure an incredible experience, but also keep everything running smoothly and efficiently. That's why we've created a fair and transparent cancellation policy. 👇

Cancellations made by the customer:

  • +30 days before the tour

✅ Full refund or full credit to use on another Yourtuk service.

  • Between 15 and 30 days before

✅ 50% refund or full credit to reschedule (subject to availability).

  • Less than 15 days before

⚠️ No refund, but we offer 50% credit to use later.

  • No-show (you didn't show up on the day)

❌ No refund or credit.

  • Did you cancel during the tour?

❌ No refund or credit is possible either.

📌 Reservations made through platforms such as GetYourGuide, Viator, or Airbnb Experiences follow the rules of those platforms. Please deal with them directly, okay?

🔁 Changes to your reservation:

You can do this up to 30 days in advance, subject to availability. If you reduce the size of the group, there may be administrative costs.

📆 Want to change the date?

You can also do this up to 30 days in advance—as long as there are spots available!

  • Cancellations made by Yourtuk:

Sometimes we are forced to cancel for reasons beyond our control, such as:

Extreme weather 🌧️ / Unexpected logistical problems ⚙️ / Force majeure (such as pandemics or legal restrictions)

In these cases, we offer 3 options:

✅ Full refund

✅ Full credit for another date

✅ Exchange for another tour (if available)

If we are already halfway through the tour and have to interrupt it, we will evaluate a proportional partial refund.

👥 Groups & Private Events:

For groups of more than 10 people:

💳 Deposit: between 30% and 50% at the time of booking

💰 Final payment: up to 30 days before the tour

📬 How to request a cancellation?

The refund (if applicable) will be made within a maximum of 5 business days, using the same payment method.

Additional Information

  • We reserve the right to adjust prices in the event of exchange rate fluctuations or changes in supplier costs. Already confirmed reservations will not be affected.

  • By making a reservation, the customer automatically accepts all Terms & Conditions on this website.

Personal Belongings

  • YourTuk is not responsible for luggage or personal belongings during tours. A small backpack is allowed, and each participant is fully responsible for their belongings. If necessary, you can store some items in the lockers available in our store, subject to availability.

Minimum Age

  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 may have restrictions on participation, depending on the minimum height required. Please contact us for more information.

Participant Conduct

  • The safety and comfort of everyone is paramount. Any behavior that, in the opinion of our team, jeopardizes the experience may result in exclusion from the activity, without refund.

  • Respect between participants, guides, and visited properties is essential. For group bookings, the group leader is responsible for the conduct of all members.

Smoking

  • Smoking is prohibited inside our vehicles. During the experience, there will be breaks at appropriate locations for smoking. Participants who smoke inside the vehicles will be asked to leave, without refund.

Photographs and Video

  • By participating in our activities, you agree that you may be photographed or filmed. YourTuk may use this material for promotional purposes without additional consent. If you do not wish to appear, please let us know before the activity.

Pets

  • We love animals, but due to the nature of our experiences, it is not possible to bring them along.

Right of Admission

  • All reservations are subject to availability. YourTuk reserves the right to refuse or cancel reservations at its discretion.

Disclaimer

  • By participating in our activities, the customer acknowledges the inherent risks, such as falls, accidents, or physical exertion. They assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages and agree not to hold YourTuk liable for any losses or expenses incurred.

  • By booking, they agree to this disclaimer and authorize the provision of medical care, if necessary.

Applicable Law

  • This agreement is governed by Portuguese law. By accepting these terms, the customer agrees not to take legal action outside of Portugal, regardless of their country of residence.
